Navigating in Luxury: The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Experience

Lincolns are arguably among the most iconic carmakers in the market. Although Ford has a number of top-notch vehicles under its brand name, the company decided to have this brand exclusively dedicated to making luxury cars. The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is undoubtedly one of them. Here’s what luxury will look like in 2024.

Notable Changes from the Previous Year

For the 2024 Nautilus, you can opt between a gas engine and a hybrid powertrain. Also, there is now a massive 48-inch screen that stretches across the entire dashboard, containing two 23.6-inch screens -- an instrument cluster and an infotainment display.

The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder with a torque capacity of 275 lb-ft and 250 horsepower. There is also a hybrid available with a self-charging system, delivering 310 horsepower. While the standard engine has an eight-speed automatic transmission, the hybrid comes with a continuously variable transmission and a 100kW electric motor. In both cases, you get an adjustable suspension and an all-wheel drive.

The 48-inch touchscreen display is probably the most eye-catching feature here. However, there’s much more to this vehicle. The new Nautilus comes with Lincoln Rejuvenate, which aims to provide unique sensory experiences through varied levels of lighting and adjustable preferences. It’s even possible to set up personal massage options and seating positions.

The new Nautilus is bigger than the previous version, but it still fits in the medium-size SUV category. It has LED headlamps and taillamps along with four different grilles, and you can also add the Jet Appearance Package, which includes body colour, pillar black details, and 22-inch wheels in high-gloss black.

Technology and Safety Features

The new Nautilus comes with Lincoln BlueCruise 1.2 technology, allowing you to drive hands-free. This updated version now includes in-lane repositioning and a lane-change assist. The panoramic display is the largest in class, spanning across the front cabin. The Nautilus also comes with blindspot monitoring with rear traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, exit warning, and a 360-degree camera. BlueCruise adds even more features with its hands-free driving assist, based on pre-mapped parts of the highway, allowing it to change lanes independently.
